WI/SP-AAT101: Adult Acting

A daytime acting class for adults of all ages and skill levels. Beginners welcome and encouraged. Monologues, scene-work, improvisation, script & character analysis, audition prep, and the option of a final performance.

Written and Directed by Jennifer Glenn
Learn by doing – the Arts Center’s own Youth Theater Company brings this classic Aesop’s Fable to life in the Black Box with delightful sets, lights, costumes, live music and sing-a-longs. This ensemble is an ‘all-play’ and provides excellent onstage experience for the young actor while thoroughly entertaining our youngest family audiences.

REHEARSALS Wednesdays | 5:30 to 7 p.m.
January 18 thru February 29 and Friday, March 2 | 5:30 to 7 p.m.
PERFORMANCES Saturday, March 3 | 11 A.M. and 2 p.m.

TECHNICAL THEATRE PRACTICUM – WILLY WONKA

Work with Production Stage Manager Jen Harmon to be part of the crew for the spring family musical. Crew jobs include, sets, props, lights, sound, stage management and house management.

REHEARSALS Crew will meet at least twice prior to production week , then report for duty Monday, March 26 thru Thursday, March 29 | 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
PERFORMANCES Friday, March 30 | 7:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, March 31 & April 1 | 2 p.m.
Thursday and Friday, April 5 & 6 | 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 7 | 2 p.m.
