Christa Dalien

Printmaker

As an artist Christa works with a variety of different mediums including installation, drawing, painting, and printmaking. Originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, she received her BFA in Painting from St. Cloud State University in 2003 and her MFA in printmaking from the University of Kansas in 2007. Her work has been shown locally and nationally including the Soo Vac Gallery (Minneapolis), All Rise Gallery (Chicago), and Paragraph Gallery and KCAC in Kansas City. In 2010 she was awarded an Avenue of the Arts Grant in Kansas City that will take place in Summer 2012. As an educator she also teaches at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and at Washburn University in Topeka.
