Jason Badgett graduated from the University of Kansas with a BGS in Film & Media Studies and a minor in Religious Studies. He co-owns Apex Pictures, a video production company based in Lawrence, KS. Sound design is his main area of focus, but he also enjoys working as a documentarian. Jason’s film work has won festivals and awards in categories including documentary, fiction, comedy, and cinematography, as well as 48 hour film festivals. Jason came to the Lawrence Arts Center in 2010 as a theatre technician, and now serves as the Technical Director.
