Pat Nemchock

art educator

Pat has been an arts educator for over thirty-eight years. She taught drawing and painting at Lawrence High School for twenty-nine years, and helped to develop a nationally recognized art program whose students consistently were rewarded with meritous scholarships. She helped her students to believe in their talents, to dream big, and work hard.

After retiring, she continues to do what she loves the most, which is teaching. She is excited about the development of the Lawrence Arts Center Arts Institutes program that is geared to help area secondary students augment their art studies at their home schools with enrichment classes in visual arts. Pat also teaches adult drawing and painting classes at the Arts Center.
