Patricia Middaugh has been teaching physical fitness since 1985. She began her career teaching Dance Aerobics, Slide, and Toning at a local club and YMCA in Pennsylvania. During her employment with the YMCA she choreographed cardio and muscle strengthening programs which were sold through the North Penn YMCA.
In 1997 her family moved to Lawrence where she was employed by Body Boutique for ten years. While her daughter was in elementary school she formed an after school fitness program for faculty and parents. Feeling that the Junior High students were not getting enough physical activity, she volunteered to participate in an awards program allowing qualified students to come to the gym for physical activity. She is currently teaching for the Lawrence Arts Center and the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department.
Patricia is experienced in teaching Cardio, Intervals, Circuit, Muscle Strengthening, Slide, Step, Water Aerobics, Pilates, Cycling, Zumba, and Senior Strength. She currently holds certifications in Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, Zumba, Cycling, Pilates, and CPR.
Pat resides on a farm with her husband and daughter plus nine dogs, ten cats, thirty-five sheep, and two horses. She enjoys making jewelry and fold harp.
