Sarah K. Harris
costume designer
Sarah Harris has lived in Lawrence most of her life. She attended Lawrence High School and studied with Pat Nemchok. In 1997, she accepted a merit scholarship and attended the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD), where she earned a BFA in Fashion Design. After working with the acclaimed Balletmet Columbus, she returned to Lawrence and worked with many small ballet companies including the Arts Center's Prairie Wind Dancers, and with the Lawrence School District as a paraprofessional.
After taking a break to have children, Sarah I resumed her passion of costuming in 2010, making over thirty costumes for the KU School of Dance, where she continues to work.
