Paige Comparato

School of Dance


Paige Comparato started her ballet training at the age of nine in Topeka, KS at Barbara’s Conservatory of Dance and danced with Ballet Midwest for many years, performing several principal roles. Paige received ballet training at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX before returning to Kansas University to pursue a degree in Art History. She has taught many dance forms, but primarily teaches ballet to all ages and skill levels. She also choreographs, directs and costumes dance productions including The Sleeping Beauty, La Fille Mal Gardee, Snow Queen and Cinderella. Paige also teaches ballet for Point B adult dance. She is certified to teach Progressing Ballet Technique. Paige has worked for the arts center, in many capacities, for over 20 years.

The Teen Ballet program is specifically designed to introduce students to ballet technique and prepare them developmentally until they are ready to join the sequential ballet program. Geared toward more mature learners, actors, and musical theater students who may have little experience with dance but understand concepts and can work toward self-correction. This is a beginner/intermediate-level class for those with a least 1 year of prior ballet experience.
